PhoroWord: WordPress and Phorum Integration
This site is dedicated to integratating or bridging Phorum message board with WordPress blog/cms and for Phorum template design.
I am currently in the process of upgrading all the templates/themes for WordPress. Phorum will soon have a new template system, so that too will be worked into the next release of PhoroWord.

About Older Themes
- Themes for older versions of PhoroWord will not work with the future release of version 3.0.
- All older themes have been removed.
- If you are a client and you need to replace a lost theme, contact me and I'll send it your way.
F.A.Q.
- Will PhoroWord work on a Windows server? - I have not tested PhoroWord, Phorum or WordPress on a Windows server and have no intentions of doing so.
- Can I use PhoroWord on my intranet? - Yes. You will need to make sure you have the latest release of Apache, PHP and MySQL on your system first.
- Can I modify and redistribute PhoroWord? - Yes. But pay close attention to the licenses for Phorum and WordPress which forms the basis for PhoroWord before making any modifications to distribute the application.
- How can I get support? - Currently I have disabled the support forum until the new release is available. If you are a client you can send me an email and I will more than happy to help you if possible. If you need help with the application offered here, please do not ask for support at the Phorum or WordPress support boards.
- Can I get a customized Phorum without WordPress? - Yes. I provide customization for Phorum such as template integration.
The term "PhoroWord" is a combination of the two words "Phorum" (from phorum.org) and "WordPress" (from WordPress.org). PhoroWord bridges Phorum and Wordpress into one content management system and message board. I am not the developer of Phorum or WordPress - I only make them work together as one application or CMS. Phorum is released under the Phorum License 2.0 while WordPress is released under the GNU General Public License (both are Open Source). PhoroWord is free to download, use, modify and distribute under the respective license of each program.
